N Scale
GeorgiaNTrains carries a variety of high quality items in N scale. Specific vendors we have include Kato, Red Caboose, collectible Micro-Trains, Intermountain Railway, LBF (limited) and Atlas (limited).
At the present time, we do not have a formal shopping cart fo r the N scale segment of our business. Specific items we have at present include the following:
Kato – newer engines (Mikado, SD80/90MACs, and SD70MACs), K-1 track sets (at $28.50 each), and limited other items. Engines are typically priced at about 20% less than list price.
Intermountain – good selection of built-up 2- and 3-bay hoppers, boxcars, and reefers. (These are typically priced about 15-20% under MSRP.) We can also assist with special runs from PWRS (www.pacific-western-rail.com) (who uses Intermountain as their base for their production), but can not offer a discount on these from list.
Red Caboose – tends to be very limited, but we try to carry some current releases.
Atlas – Some of the new engines, typically at about 20% off list.
MicroTrains – we do not carry many of the new releases, but tend to concentrate on the out-of-production items where items have been on collector auctions, our selling price is typically about 70% of the auction high bid. We also carry the Armstrong N Scale Valuation Guide, issued quarterly (priced about $19

In general on the N scale items, availabilities may vary. If you have a specific item you want, drop us a line and we’ll see if we can help out. If there are new releases you are particularly interested in, especially the Kato engines, we can reserve a unit for you.
